California Mathmatics, Science and Computer Science Professional Learning Grant
Mathematics

The CAL-MSCS partnership supports California’s mathematics leadership teams to create vibrant learning spaces where students thrive.

Mathematics is a dynamic, connected, and beautiful field full of creativity. Students are more likely to engage in mathematics, see themselves as mathematicians, and develop mathematical competencies when teachers model math learning as a journey that begins with exploration and investigation and leads to meaningful lifelong connections that extend far beyond the classroom.

The CAL-MSCS partnership supports statewide and local communities of practice, bringing together California’s mathematics educators and professional learning leaders, committed to helping students thrive. We are creating a sustainable, statewide infrastructure, in which local communities of practice convene to learn together, to collaborate, and to support excellent, engaging mathematics learning for each and every California student.
